Shoreline Breakers Athletics SkillzCamp is our Summer warm-up for basketball programs from 10U - 18U. It is comprised of two 4-hour camps.
Morning Camp 1 is for Boys 10u, 12u and Girls 10u, 12u, and 14u. At this camp our national runner-up champion JV and Varsity players assist the Coaches in training the younger players. This solidifies the Breakers' techniques and lets the younger kids get a glimpse of some of the champs they look up to. In this camp we go through the basics of dribbling, passing, footwork, shooting, and defense. We end the day with some all ages scrimmaging.
Camp 2, in the second half of the day is for Boys 14U, 16U, 18U, and Girls 16U and 18U. This camp is a bit more advanced than the morning as most of these players have played organized basketball and are ready for more! We again start with the basics of dribbling, passing, footwork, shooting, and defense, but we go a bit more into conditioning and drills to take home for the summer to prepare for Pre-Season Camp in September and practices beginning in October.

This year's Skillz Camp was AMAAAAZING!!!We had participation at every age level with kids of all levels from beginner to expert. At camp 1, the JV/V players were absolutely unbelievable with the younger kids. They were able to connect and teach them so well, at a level very different from the adult coaches. We watched the younger players learn so quickly that they were able to use many of the drills in the scrimmages by the end of the camp. And camp 2 was intense. The seasoned players mixed in a few new faces and ran their tails off. They learned some great technique and had a ton of take-home lessons and drills. We are extremely happy with our turnout and are looking forward to Pre-Season camp coming up in just a couple months. Check out some memories from this years Skillzcamp below.
